Social media and digital legacy for less than the price of a coffee

At Kin we believe the things you share on social media should stay.. yours. We don’t sell your data in any way shape or form. Sound refreshing?!

That’s why normally we charge a small subscription fee, that one admin (a KinPin) pays for.

So is it a paid for service?

Yes and No! We’ll explain …

Kin works by people creating Spaces and inviting their friends and family to join them.

Spaces can be created for anything. Families, friends, clubs and organisations… whatever it is that connects you with a group of people.

So, if you want to create a Space then you need a subscription. Once you have a subscription you can create as many Spaces as you want.

What about the others in my Space. Do they need to pay?

Nope! You can invite whoever you like to join your Space and they get to join for FREE using your invite code.

Just two things to note:

Firstly, your subscription comes with a storage allowance (it’s big!) and any media uploaded to your Spaces reduces your available allowance.

Secondly, if you invited guests that want to create a Space of their own, they will need to take out their own subscription.

An essential app for long-distance families

Especially during times like these with travel at a standstill, Kin is such a brilliant way for my family, who are spread across several time zones, to stay up-to-date on each others' lives. I look forward to when my kids are old enough to have their own account and be able to scroll through all our family's photos and memories in one place.

So easy, all three generations are using it

During lockdown, I came across this app when I decided to make a goal to digitise all our amazing family photos in one place. It's been such a seemless experience, I was able to get both my parents and my grandparents to create accounts and start adding in their favourite family stories which gave them so much joy as well. They've even created some future memories videos for when the grandkids hit milestone ages.
